Thanks for checking out the site.

You can find me all the way up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories where I currently hold several positions at CBC North.

As an Associate Director and Ingest Technician, I overlook the planning and organization of two nightly newscasts. One is broadcast entirely in Inuktitut, while the other is broadcast in English across all three territories.

While working directly in the newsroom as a Reporter and Associate Producer for Current Affairs, I have had the opportunity to cover territorial and community politics extensively.

My coverage includes the NWT Health Ministers lack of response to the spread of fentanyl and a non- confidence vote of the Justice Minister. I frequently work with Chiefs, councilors and residents of thirty-two Indigenous communities across the NWT to inform our audience of the issues they face.

Covering Yellowknife City Council on a regular basis has given me the opportunity to cover corruption and hold the city to account – for example, I broke a story on the discussion of whether to change the city’s water supply to an arsenic infested lake and the hire of an Integrity Commissioner to keep Council in check.

I also voluntarily host a weekly radio program for Cabin Radio, which is another local  broadcaster in the NWT. ‘Cabin Country’ allows me to play classic country music and provides me with an outlet to provide more creative content.

I have experience using ENG Cameras, iNews, Avid, Media Centre, WordPress, Newsroom, Burli and Dalet.

To get in touch, you can reach me here.
